thrift·y | adj.
(of a person or their behavior) using money and other resources carefully and not wastefully
Thrifty alpaca was founded by Katie Day in 2022. What started as a high school hobby hauling clothes home from secondhand shops, has now turned into a small business 7 years later.
To me, thrifting is an experience where the fun comes from scouring clothing racks for hours without any luck, then suddenly finding a piece that makes you want to jump up and down.
My goal is to help every wonderful and ugly-cute piece find a happy home.
Every thrifty alpaca piece has a history from its previous owners. These items have been discarded, but would love a second chance to be worn and keep all of your other clothes company. The majority of pieces have been rescued from secondhand stores in Minnesota.
